Because it will result in your roommates tearing apart the entire flat in pursuit of the little bugger, like we just did. Terrifying and frantic and frustrating, especially when another roomie calls and said she accidentally had it the entire time. Fortunately this wasn’t me this time around, but the lesson has been learned.
In other news, WE PLANNED OUR FIRST TRIP TODAY! Hey Scotland, see you soon.
Roomies and I are also in the process of planning/booking the rest of our semester, including our spring break trip. My wallet is already wincing in misery, but I’m practically crying out of excitement.

Paris, Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini. How does that sound?! (Thanks to Heather for the stellar map!)
Side note, we just saw a commercial (or “ad-vert-eyez-ment”, as they say here) featuring Santorini. It’s a sign.
Sadly spring break is a while away, but there are a bunch of other fun goodies to hold us over in the mean time. Tomorrow we
venture off on a two hour bus ride with the university to Stonehenge and Salisbury, and sign ups for the “Love London Weekend” activities opened up today. Billy Elliot, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, and Harry Potter Studio tour HERE I COME (and for discounted and/or free, I might add).
But first I have to make it through my 5:45 AM wake up call so we can board the bus on time for tomorrow’s adventure.
With love from London,
Sierra

The Oyster Card is what you use to ride the underground here. Extremely expensive means of transportation and even more convenient when you have a monthly pass (like the students do)
